Introduction to physiology and pathophysiology is a collection of a number of short, relatively simple, and partially illustrated chapters about the function and dysfunction of a human organism. Initial chapters introduce known basic rules of operation of a life organism, about the basic building blocks of cells, tissues and organs. Followed by chapters about using our senses, move our body, about the choreography of hormone release, about tireless heart, and key side jobs of kidney, lung or different sections of the digestive tract. Pathophysiological content is expectedly more complex, but it increases the general knowledge to enable broad and effective dialogue in medicine and beyond.
