BOOK OF ABSTRACTS – IT'S ABOUT PEOPLE 2026: Answering Current Challenges in Society, Health and Technology

The Book of Abstracts of the 14th International Scientific Conference It's About People 2026: Answering Current Challenges in Society, Health and Technology, held in Maribor on the premises of the Alma Mater Europaea University and online between 13 and 18 March 2026, brings together the collected abstracts of the research presented at the conference. In addition to the scientific abstracts and the conference programme, the publication also includes plenary lectures by distinguished international speakers and the Resolution of the It's About People 2026 Conference (by WAAS, EASA and AMEU University), which calls for strengthening the role of the academic community in global efforts to promote peace and protect human dignity, advocates for a New Renaissance grounded in humanistic values. It supports the responsible development of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

Spanning more than 400 pages, the volume represents the largest collection of conference abstracts in the history of the It's About People conference series. Contributions by researchers from universities and other academic and public institutions in more than 40 countries address topics in health sciences, physiotherapy, social gerontology, social infrastructure, strategic communication, law, political science, cultural formations, humanities, archival science, project management, web and information technologies, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, education, mental health, and dance.

The scope of the publication reflects the continued development of the conference, which has established itself in recent years as one of the most important international meeting points for researchers and professionals from a wide range of disciplines.
